Lucinda & Hinchinbrook Island

We are in Lucinda which is just metre's away from the bottom of Hinchinbrook Island and about 30 k's east of Ingham. We were have a little over 3 years ago but since then Lucinda has suffered the effects of cycle Yasi, the eidence of her visit is still quite apparent with many tree's down and roofs' still swathed in tarps.

This is the view to Hinchinbrook from the boat ramp early morning, not far at all and quite serene looking, their is always a little cloud over the top in the early mornings.

In the left of this photo you can see where Yasi came through and shredded the tree's on the point.
