Sugar Fix

Lucinda has the longest pier in Qld and maybe Australia, it measures 5.75 kilometres out to sea to load the sugar from the refinery onto the boats, unfortunately you are not allowed on it to fish, but there is an old one you can fish off.

When the mill is in full force the air is thick with the pungent smell of molases.
